Stephanie and Robert were married at the beautiful Gover Ranch in Cottonwood. They couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to get married among the beautiful gardens surrounded by friends and family. Enjoy!
I am in love with this beautiful baby session! This little guy was about a year old and his parents wanted to capture this very fun stage. We met up at the river walk along the Sacramento River. It was a beautiful spring day and I love how the colors pop in this session. He was such a happy little boy and pretty much let us sit him down where ever we wanted. These are such beautiful portraits I know they will cherish forever. Enjoy!
One year ago today I was on top of a beautiful mountain capturing a very intimate and special wedding. I have known Danielle since she was a baby and and I was really excited when Danielle and Brian asked me to be apart of their wedding day. Her big sis happens to be one of my most favorite people and my longest time friend! There are 4 sisters in this amazing family and I have been honored to capture 3 of their weddings.
Brian and Danielle have a crazy, wonderful story that you can see outlined in the picture of the black board. Exactly two years ago today they met in Vegas and a year later to the day they were married!
Danielle and Brian were married a beautiful intimate family ceremony at a private retreat in the mountains. Paradise Springs is a beautiful little resort just outside Yosemite in Oakhurst, CA. Danielle and Brian rented the entire place out and were able to host their friends and family for 3 days. It was such an amazing relaxed atmosphere to have everyone there and able to be apart of all the festivities from the rehearsal dinner, to the decorating through the morning after the wedding. Both of the families where able to stay in the huge bunk house. There was fellowship and new friendships formed as the two families worked together to make the wedding day beautiful. I have told Josh that when our daughters get married this is how I want to do it! It makes the wedding seem like it’s a real experience when you can spend several days together as friends and family instead of just one evening for a wedding.
Danielle’s dress was AMAZING and looked absolutely stunning on her! There were so many little thoughtful details to the day but nothing compared to the love between Danielle and Bryan. Brian left little notes all over the honeymoon cabin that Danielle dressed in. Everywhere she turned in the cabin she would find a new little note with sweet words on it. They also wrote their own vows which had everyone sniffling during the ceremony. Danielle and Brian choose to honor Brian’s baby girl who could not be at the wedding by holding a sign for pictures with her name on it. Such a special way to show her that she was loved and thought of on their special day.
My favorite part of the day with this family is always the father/daughter dance. Their daddy has such love for his girls and they always end up in tears during their moment. I love capturing this! So sweet to see a father/daughter relationship that is that real and close. I am sad that there are no more father/daughter dances to capture for this family but I am sure they are loving having all their girls married to amazing men.
Happy 1st Anniversary Brian and Danielle!
