Katie, my very pregnant mommy from a maternity session a few weeks ago, gave birth to a beautiful baby boy just two weeks after her maternity pictures. Colton is just about 9 days old in these pictures and he is a beautiful baby boy. He wasn’t sure if he wanted to be asleep or awake but we got some great portraits. I always enjoy watching new parents just be in awe of their new little one. Congratulations, Katie and Kurt, on your new baby boy!

Marcus and Jamie had a beautiful, intimate wedding at her family ranch in Chester, Ca. The setting couldn’t have been more beautiful or perfect for this western loving couple. We had turned the weekend into a little family get away with some friends so my family was off wake boarding the lake while I headed over to cover the wedding. Jamie and Marcus’s families were all gathered at the house when I arrived. Like any wedding at home there was a whirlwind of activity as decorations needed to be completed, shoes needed to found, food made and every one had to get dressed!

The ceremony was held in the side yard with gorgeous views of the meadow stretching beyond. The reception was beautiful, set in the meadow. Even the cows decided to show up for the day! Jamie and Marcus had brought their own horses up from the valley for some special pictures. We brought them out, got some great shots and then the horse sneezed all over Jamie which was defiantly one of the more funny moments of the day. I have many beautiful pictures of this special couple and I had a really hard time narrowing it down to just a few for the blog. One thing I noticed as I was pouring over the pictures was that Jamie and Marcus always had a smile on their face and were always laughing with each other. It was a very special wedding, with a very special couple and a very special place. Thank you for letting me be apart of your incredible day!

Chelsey is a darling senior who has recently graduated from high school. I met up with Chelsey and her mom and we wandered around Reno’s downtown river walk. We found some fantastic places to take pictures and I love the variety that the river walk gave us. Congratulations Chelsey and may God bless you in your upcoming endeavors!
